Fensterstock wins “Best Actor” Innie Award at the New York Inn of Court’s Annual Dinner for his role as Senator Charles Sumner in the Inn’s timely reenactment of the 1868 impeachment proceedings of Andrew Johnson. This was Evan’s first nomination as “Best Actor” and first time receiving the “Best Actor” award. In his role as Senator Sumner, Evan delivered one of Mr. Sumner’s speeches during the impeachment proceedings in a strong Boston accent and emphasized Mr. Sumner’s staunch position to impeach President Johnson. The Metropolitan Club in New York City held the New York Inn of Court’s annual dinner on January 16, 2020. The Inn honored the Honorable Barbara R. Kapnick, Associate Justice of the New York’s Appellate Division, First Department, during the event.
