(FPC), in collaboration with New England Law | Boston, is proud to announce its 2020 Summer Fellowship program, which began on June 3, 2020–a complete 10-week summer legal program devoted to mentoring talented and driven law students. It is FPC’s honor to join forces with these bright summer fellows as they continue to develop their discipline of excellence in legal advocacy. Meet our summer fellows below.

Ramon Ledezma

Ramon Ledezma is a 2020 summer fellow at Fensterstock, P.C. and an active law student at New England Law | Boston where he currently ranks in the top 5% of his class.

Ramon grew up in Nogales Sonora, Mexico. He is the first member of his family to obtain a college degree and to attend law school. Growing up in a family of modest means, Ramon was deeply inspired by his parents’ determination and hard-work ethic. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Social and Behavioral Science. Ramon worked full-time to put himself through college as an insurance agent for Geico, one of the nation’s top insurance companies, where he was consistently recognized for being Geico’s number-one Boston salesman, and as a top regional salesman overall. His impeccable work ethic speaks for itself.

Ramon’s background arms him with the ability and insight to tackle complex legal and business problems, and to see issues from multiple and diverging perspectives. Ramon is a committed and fearless advocate for his clients.

Sarah Wernher

Sarah Wernher is a 2020 summer fellow at Fensterstock, P.C., a recipient of the full-tuition Sandra Day O’Connor merit scholarship, and an active law student at New England Law | Boston.

Sarah has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and Writing from the University of California, San Diego, where she graduated with a 3.9 GPA in her major. While obtaining her undergraduate degree, she was vice president of Alpha Epsilon Phi—a Jewish organization dedicated to helping exemplary women.  She was also a staff writer for the Muir Quarterly, and the founder of the student-run comedy club Comedy on Campus. Sarah is passionate about practicing all forms of writing and has had her work published in the Huffington Post and Glimmer Magazine (a digital magazine that focuses on the impact of social media and technology on modern life). In her free time, she reads, writes creatively, and occasionally performs stand-up comedy, having recently drawn inspiration from the ups and downs of being a law student.

Combining her sharp writing skills with her quick wit and sense of humor, Sarah’s background arms her with an innate ability to dissect complex legal issues and to advocate for the best interests of her clients.

Eleni Pavlou

Eleni Pavlou is a 2020 summer fellow at Fensterstock, P.C., a recipient of the Dean’s merit scholarship, and an active student at New England Law | Boston.

Eleni was born and raised in Athens, Greece, and later moved to the United Kingdom in pursuit of higher education. She currently has a Bachelor of Laws with a focus in American Legal Studies from Birmingham City University in the United Kingdom, where she graduated with honors and a cumulative 4.0 GPA, served as president of the Negotiation Society, treasurer of the Debating Society, and was a finalist in the school’s debating competition. Additionally, she was nominated to represent her school in the United Kingdom’s national negotiation competition. In the continuous pursuit of cultivating her legal craft, Eleni served as a student editor for the British Journal of American Legal Studies, where she worked closely with the editor-in-chief to draft law journals that were later published. An active advocate for the city of Birmingham, in her spare time, Eleni helped organize the International Buddies Scheme’s annual cultural festival, and, after a very successful event, Eleni was presented with an award for her outstanding contribution. During her leisure time, Eleni enjoys kickboxing, swimming, badminton, and horseback riding.

Eleni has always had a passion for speaking up for those who struggled to speak up for themselves. She is a comfort and an ally to those in need.
